"Episode 1: Revelation"
IN AN AGE OF LONG FORGOTTEN LEGENDS, ONLY ONE REMAINED. THIS LEGEND STOOD OUT AS A LIGHT THROUGH THE DARKNESS OF BEING FORGOTTEN, SUSTAINING ITSELF THROUGH TIME.
ONCE, GODS AND MORTALS LIVED TOGETHER IN PROSPERITY, WORKING TOGETHER TOWARDS NEW GOALS; NEW SOLUTIONS FOR THEIR MANY PROBLEMS. WHEN THE GOD OF DEATH AND DARKNESS, DAHAKRA, WIPED OUT THE MORTAL OVERNIGHT IN AN ACT OF BETRAYAL, LAEATRA, THE GOD OF LIFE AND LIGHT FOUGHT THEM WITH ALL THEIR STRENGTH, BEING ABLE TO SUBDUE THEM TO A SLUMBER THAT WOULD HOPEFULLY FORCE THEM TO REST THROUGHOUT TIME. SEEING A VISION THAT DAHAKRA WOULD ONE DAY RETURN, LAEATRA HAD THE STRENGTH TO PUT HER ESSENCE INTO A SURVIVING MORTAL, A SURVIVOR OF THIS TRAGEDY. TO THIS DAY, HER DESCENDANTS THROUGH THE REALM HAVE LED TO HER INCARNATION, TIME AND TIME AGAIN, AWAITING FOR THE CHOSEN DAY THAT DAHAKRA WILL RETURN.
AND THAT CHOSEN DAY IS [[NOW.]]
The screen turns into a slow, bright light. Suddenly, the screen turns into a cutscene of the player’s avatar walking in the countryside. The camera fades in and then out to show a third person view of the avatar looking towards the sun, rising just behind the castle; their destination.

As the camera resumes with the avatar walking along the countryside, the bushes around the player start to rustle and silhouettes of various monsters come out, and a battle sequence is initiated, along with a [[tutorial.]]
Tutorial:
During your adventure, you will come across monsters that you will need to fight! To win, you have to damage them all the way to 0! Press the Attack button to fight!
Sometimes, enemies may be resistant to your standard attacks! Press the Magic button, then press Flame, to burn the enemy! But be warned: When your ‘MP’ (Magic points) run out, you can’t use magic anymore!

Oh no, you’re damaged! This can happen when a super strong enemy hurts you! Press the Items button, and then Potion, to heal yourself up right away!
You now know how to battle! Fight wisely and have fun!
When the tutorial ends, the avatar has a sweat mark above them, indicating exhaustion. Horses neigh and run towards the player’s side, and a man is riding on the leading stallion. He looks down towards the avatar.
Man: Hey! We came as fast as we could, but it seems you’ve done the job for us! Are you okay?
(The player is given the following dialogue options:
[[Yes.]]
[[No.]])
Player: Y-
The screen goes into static for a second and the avatar nods their head, indicating a yes.

In each scenario, a cutscene will appear where the player mounts on the back of the horse and the castle is seen in the distance, the sun shining brilliantly behind it, creating a massive shadow that soon envelops you.
As they get closer to the castle, the avatar looks out at the distance, huffing under their cloak. She whispers, but not loud enough for her savior to eavesdrop.
They eventually reach the outside gates of the castle and the man looks up, signalling for the guards to raise them in order to gain entry.

The horse slowly clops in, and the view of a wonderous parade can be seen, balloons in the air and clowns performing in the street for children to watch. He and the player get off the horse and he looks towards them to instruct before leaving.
Man: I will have to leave you here, I'm afraid. If you need anything else, feel free to ask the townspeople. I am sure they would be delighted to help. Farewell!
The avatar glitches for a split second and looks up at the looming tower at the end of the town, clenching a fist.
"Finally... I will be there soon. Your pain... I will return to end it."

The town is buzzing with excitement, with balloons in the air, clowns dancing and candy being handed out to children. Today was surely a day of celebration; the birth of the princess, over twenty years ago. Maybe the crowd will be enough to blend in so that you can get to the tower without being noticed.
You also see a statue of a culmination of the past kings of the town. It appeared to be like a ring, with a row of the busts of the previous kings being mounted on it. There appeared to be a script for visitors who were travelling. It could be useful for information.
Where will you go?

Shaken from the power of the innkeeper's words alone, she immediately left with her child, almost as if she was never there in the first place.
"Sorry. If I knew guests were going to be this hectic, I would never have let you do my job." She gets whatever is in her pocket and hands it out to you.

[[enter the library]] The castle seems old and rustic. Normally, it would be buzzing with inhabitants, such as servants, or guards, or even the king himself, at least in your imagination. But because of the chaos, the only thing you can hear are whispers from the people hiding.
Where were the guards...?

[[enter the throneroom]] The castle appeared to be big, towering above you with a massive shadow. There didn't appear to be any windows aside from the one at the top, where you assumed the princess was. It was a strategy for them in case they were ever attacked, they wouldn't be shot from outside.

The script reads as follows:
738: THE FIRST KING, TAURUS. TAURUS WAS THE FIRSTBORN INCARNATION OF LAEATRA, USING THE POWER OF EARTH TO CRAFT THE WALLS WE KNOW TODAY. HE FENDED OFF ENEMY NATIONS WITH THE MIGHT OF HIS ROCK HARD DEFENCES, SHIELDING HIS PEOPLE AT THE COST OF HIS OWN LIFE. HIS DAUGHTER, PISCES, SUCCEEDED HIM A MONTH LATER.
778: THE FIRST QUEEN, PISCES. PISCES BELIEVED IN RESOLUTION THROUGH TRANQUILITY, USING HER POWERS OF WATER TO PROVIDE ENDLESS RESOURCES OF CONSUMPTION FOR HER PEOPLE TO THRIVE ON. SHE DIED PEACEFULLY IN HER BED, PRINCE SCORPIO SUCCEEDING HER.
832: THE SECOND KING, SCORPIO. SCORPIO WAS A RUTHLESS RULER OF HIS PEOPLE, USING DROPLETS OF HIS POWERS OF POISON BY SENDING OUT PROXIES TO CONTAMINATE THEIR FOOD IN OTHER NATIONS. A FIERCE WAR WAGED BETWEEN THEM, AND SCORPIO DIED AS A RESULT. SUCCEEDING HIM IS KING LEO, WHO IS STILL ALIVE TO THIS DAY.
875:
It ends there. It's there for King Leo's description should the time come.
